If you pass by Mulege make sure you stop by the Mision so you can have a close look at the early attempts of catholic missions to colonise America. There is a little viewing point behind the chapel, that most visitors miss!

We felt transported back in time inside the mission. We were able to climb the narrow stone staircases all the way to the roof and the bell. What an extraordinary view!

This was one of the four mission on a motorcycle trip down Baja. Overall it was the least impressive of the four. Certainly worth a look if you are close, but not worth going out of your way just to see.

We visited the Mission on our road trip through Baja. What an amazing place - to imagine what people did to construct this all those years ago. Amazing.
