As we were lodging in the hotel just above the gorge, we managed to get there early in the morning (the sun didn't reach the bottom yet), so we were alone. Nice walk up the stream and refreshing bath in under a waterfall. When we...More

We hiked down to the Devil's Bridge from Civita... felt like it was straight down! Fantastic views and worth the effort! Thankfully, our guide had a 4x4 come down to take us back to the town! Don't think we would have made it back up...More

I saw the bridge from above: it is impressive and the legends surrounding its constructions are funny! What is really wonderful is the opportunity to explore the river below (Gole del Raganello is called the attraction), thanks to canyoning experiences. There are several organizations with...More

We in the area call this our "little Grand Canyon", and I have to say that some of the views are impressive. One of the big differences with the original one in Arizona and Utah is the fact that in the US you can comfortably...More

Il ponte del diavolo is reached by a long walk downhill, parts of which are very steep with no steps. But if I can do it, anybody can! Just be sure to arrange a return trip back up to Civita with a 4x4 vehicle. There...More
