Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Inside is a simple but perfect beauty, with some relatively recent restoration I guess. Nice apse. Crypt is not significant, but does not matter given the rest. Benches in circle, prayer rooms with carpets, sophisticated audio system with relaxing music, a very interesting altar... great and singular place for eyes and spirit.

The changes they have made recently are beautiful and the area just feels calm and inspiring. Wonderful place to get in touch with nature, your spiritual side or other people looking for the same connections.

Misticism is so strong here that it makes you want to get closer to god, even if you do not believe at all.
Stones, arranged in such a simple manner, as to give shape to this place of worship; are much more than stones. Together, they make much more than just a pretty church. It is not by chance, that around the Pieve, hundreds of people, gather and spend time together in the "Fraternità" . One does feel brotherhood with fellow humans. Here, one does feel that materialism, cannot possibly be the answer to ones true needs

This is a charming church with nice gardens and a fountain in the back (at the end of the trees in front of the church). The hike from Pratovecchio to the Pieve takes about 1 hour and is not as steep as it seems. The road gently goes up. The photos don´t do justice. You need to see it in person.

well worth stopping and spending time to take in this lovely retreat and small church. Be sure to go to book store and stations of inspiratoinal sayings and art walk. Lovely people and art by local priest. Simplicity at its finest.

... Very beautiful church and the complex that surrounds it ... a place of silence and recollection ... intimate and simple without any distraction ... in the hill above a center of prayer and meditation where you can find yourself in peace ...

Nice place but accompanying restaurant did not excel in hospitality and we are actually not used to that in this region. The place is beautiful and a nice starting point for a walk to the higher castle

È sempre visitabile? Quanto tempo si impiega x la visita?
Written 15 May 2019

Buona visita.
