If you want to experience a perfect "Bounty"-beach, go to Elafonissi. There will be a lot of people, but it's still nice to see and to swim there. A fine place for toddlers to bathe. Low water a long way out. Nice sand all over.

I went many years back but was blown away by the beauty of the sand and water. Pink particles in the sand gives the illusion that the sand is pink. Id definitely go back if given the chance.

It's one of the top 3 beaches in Greece. The sand is truly pink and luminous. The water is so clear, it's like you're in a big jar. The water is mainly sallow and the brach is enormous, thus making it one of the most...More

The Elafonisi is a very nice lagoon at the Cretan Westcoast. The way is very curvy and along with almost small roads at the coastline. The lagoon has very clear water. Very nice beach to go to but many other beaches are so famous but...More

An odd beauty spot, with another dream beach, characterized by the color contrasts in the water and sand of the beach.

Best way to get there is by organised busses. The are luxurious and you do not have to drive on the crazy Cretan roads and in the heat. There are no words to describe the beauty of the these beaches. Put your bag on your...More

Hi, I’m not too sure as we did a coach trip. I think the water would be too shallow around there for a boat.

Sorry, I can't say. We drove (rented a car), but surely if you are in a resort or apartment the reception/owner will recommend a travel agent/day trip service to take. There are tons of those that go here, I believe.
