This is a beautiful beach where you can walk to find a more secluded area. The ink sand is definitely noticeable- if you don't see it at first, keep walking and you'll see it right where the water is crashing into the shore. This is a beautiful way to spend the day!

The best you can say about Elafonissi Beach: It is children-friendly. Allways calm water. Low water-depth. Therefore it is most family with small children, who come to Elafonissi. What is not so good: For most tourists there is a long transport to Elafonissi. The water isn't fresh and crystal clear, as it is at most sea-open beaches. We stayed in... More

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I ever visit, it almost made me cry.The water is cristal clear and it's breathtaking. Unfortunately the day we went it was a bit windy but we went to stay on the rocks instead.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I 've been to! Crystal clear blue waters, pink sand, what else can you ask for? Had a really enjoyable day here just swimming, relaxing and enjoying the sun, will definitely visit again soon!

beautiful beach and the particles of coral really do appear to make the sand pink. The beach is so large and gets very crowded. Good eating places and plenty of walks. on the down side, when you find a toilet you have to pay for the use and they are a bit iffy! Worth a visit though

I have been to Elafonissi Beach on several occasions since my first visit in 1986. Obviously the place has changed dramatically. From an isolated, out of the way beach it has turned into a fully organized, overcroweded one. One might wonder: is it worth visiting then? Yes! Of course it is. The place is unreal! But, if you can try... More

Elafonisi is a wonderful and unique place, a kind of paradise. The water has the appropriate temperature, and the view is amazing. But if your a quiet and relaxing person like we are you should go very early in the morning in order to feel calm and relaxed. After a while the place gets crowded and it can get annoying.... More

What a beautiful beach. I have never seen pink sand before. And that with the colour of the ocean leaves you speechless. However, I wouldn't want to be there in mid summer when it's absolutely packed with tourists as I was told.
