Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely area for pictures. I think the non payed area is even more beautiful than the payd area (grotto del poesia). Def recommended to visit!

Jumping off cliffs and snorkeling is great here. Wear water shoes for the rocks. Parking lot across the street 👍🏻

All the way to the Grotto, people were swimming in the sea by the rocks. Beautiful little caves and obviously crystal clear water. Peaceful place and free, no need for sunbeds although a couple of folks had set up their umbrellas in the rocks. No toilets.

Tourist trap - avoid! We came here expecting to see the beautiful photos brought to life, however, we’ve been left very disappointed.
Firstly, you have to pay for parking then pay an entrance fee (€3 each). There are no visits, explanation boards etc. so you leave without learning anything about the site!
Secondly, the site was PACKED. This was on a Thursday evening in September so I cannot imagine the crowds during summer... People are standing around in bunches watching the odd few people jump into the “pool”. It’s not relaxing or enjoyable. There were also a group of locals who seemed to take over the main jumping spots so tourists don’t get much of a chance..
Waste of a journey coming here sadly. I hope this is helpful to others.

A relaxing walk through the ruins was nice. You will need closed toed shoes for this walk as the rocks are sharp and uneven. It took us about an hour at a leisurely pace.

Left abandoned. The good side is that walking beside the area you can reach the coast side and the Roca, nice spot with much less people to enjoy the sun and a good swim!

The caves that the seaside carved here in rocks are something unique and so is the color of the water. Worth a visit!

Just not my cup of tea. Having to queue and hang around and pay for the privilege.Too many coaches and on a moody weather day not much to see. It's probably beautiful on a sunny day but just not that day!
