We were 5 adults ( 50's and 80's) staying at a condo next to the Omni hotel. We all found this location to be perfect in every way. Great white sand protected beach, walking around was easy for everyone as the marina streets and sidewalks...More

Very sad they have a great restaurant full of possibilities and they completely missed the mark in every way. Expensive, terrible service, not a good value at all

We walked the marina from our hotel, short 10 walk. The Marina is really neat place to sight sea. Large private boats and tons of iguanas engulf the area. The marina almost has a business that has manatees, sea lions and dolphins. If you don't...More

Lovely views, great to see dolphins playing when they have finished training, some good bars, gift shops a bit pricey.

Sadly this is a captive dolphin attraction (as well as manatees and sea lions). Please do not patronize and let the wild be free.

Can you get tour boats here to eg. Cozumel, and how long and how expensive are they? How are the dolphins kept in the marina? Do you have to pay to see the shows etc? Thank you!

sorry I do not know about the boats. The dolphins and sea lions are in a part of the marina that is fenced off from the area the boats use. You can watch the shows from the quay side but have to pay if you want to get in... More

We are staying at the Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort and Spa. I would like to visit Tulum, but don't want to go with a tour. Could we take a "taxi'? My husband and I do not travel often, and need to know specifics. How much should we pay for a taxi? Should we get a guide? any help would be appreciated Also, we like to bike and would like to rent bikes for a day. Is there a 30-50 miles route someone could recommend? Where do we rent bikes?

You could use a taxi. My guess is it would be about $30each way. We took a collectivo shuttle bus from just outside the resort. These are minibuses that constantly run from Playa del Carmen to Tulum. You basically just flag... More
