Since they can't own the beach they just try to restrict your ability to access it. But there is a couple ways to get there. Including pretending your staying at the Omni hotel, and walking fast. Dont let them fool you into thinking they own the beach. They just own the chairs.

We love this quiet bay next to the marina in Puerto Aventuras. Man-made breaks keep the waves out and create a gentle, knee-deep swimming/wading area with warm waters that is ideal for children. It was a great area for my daughter to practice snorkeling before heading out beyond the breaks.

Our group of 9 friends who were staying at a villa north of the marina, decided to purchase a day pass at the Omni so we could spend a day at the beach. There were plenty of loungers and palapas for shade. Service at the beach was spotty, but it was only a few steps to the pool bar to order... More

Price included a beach towel and monies for food and drink at the pool bar/restaurant. The beach was clean & there were loungers and umbrellas. 1/2 of the pool bar a hot tub seating / eating area... fun to eat lunch and still be in the water.

We spent a day at the beach at this property since we were lodging within the marina area. For $23US per person you are allowed the use of their towels, chairs and palapas. Inclusive of the cost, you are given $800 pesos in credit to be used at the hotel. More than half of that was used for breakfast and... More

I loved this place, the beach is very child friendly as it slopes gently to the breakwater, even beyond the breakwater the sand continues to slope away at a very gentle pace, Crystal clear waters. The place is spotless clean, they clean the beach everyday. Highly recommended
