Good Overall Tour, but the food was not that great and the Coral was dead

This was a US$110 Tour with SunWing which we booked from the Hotel SunWing Rep. It was a great way to see Tulum. It included a fantastic ride on this huge catamaran. Eric was a... read more

was looking forward to a real sailing experience, had a beautiful day, unfortunate for sailing was the wind was very light. Calm seas. Would have taken the boat back if we would have know it was an option. This boat is an independent operation, not connected to any hotels so it can be hard to find out. Have gone on... More

Was just OK, we had done a catamaran ride in Barbados, which was amazing and our expectations were high. We were disappointed. We knew that the catamaran ride was long to get to the snorkeling site but, after an hour and half or so, kids were really bored. Also, there was nothing to see for snorkeling, the reef was empty.... This experience was exactly what we were looking for and we booked it through the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. Mannie (sp?) was our guide throughout the experience...he was great! He was very knowledgeable and knew the details of the history and geography of the area. We began with the sail in the morning. It was about 3 hours. The... More

Dealing with Bleu Magic was a bit difficult at first since they take a bit long to answer e-mails, BUT IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! They were able to accomodate a large wedding party of 50 and we had an absolute blast! They picked us up from Playa del Carmen at the ferry stop (we were staying in Cozumel) and... More

Following is an email that I wrote when the manager heard that I was not [leased with this trip: Sir: First of all, there was obviously some miscommunication. I still have a copy of your email on file and it lists all off the tour activities. It never stated that we we were not going to the beach or the... More

A Fun, relaxing way to travel to Tulum. The crew is attentive in serving drinks on the trip down. They put the sails up, but continue to motor during the trip (If you don't sail, you probably won't notice). It has a clean head (bathroom). Once in Tulum, you can snorkel on the reef but it is mandatory to wear... More

My wife and I, and another couple, decided to have a layed back day sailing, snorkeling, and visiting the ruins. This was a great way to do it! Despite other reviewers concerns about safety, we watched the Raiatea muscle its way through large swells with both the main and foresail. This a relaxed and unhurried outting. The snorkeling was a... More

My family has gone out on the Raiatea twice and both times were a great experience! The crew is great--friendly and attentive! We took the tour down from Puerto Aventuras to Tulum. The ride down is amazing, and the tour of the ruins is great too! We went in January and again in Sept. The weather was warm enough in... More

We took the Bleu Magic snorkeling cruise out of Puerto Advantures last week. The weather didn't cooperate but that wasn't the problem. We discovered why a previous review talked about not cruising with the main sail. This boat would not be safe if the main sail was up. Each corner of the boat's main structure had major cracks in the... More
