Located directly across the highway from the Hotel we stayed, Barcelo! It was within walking distance.... in fact there are several cents there to swim.. I found that in my 2 week trip to Puerto Aventuras, the best part of the trip were visiting these cenotes. They are so unusual and the water is fresh, clear, clean and cool -... More

There are several options you can purchase when visiting Kantun Chi. We took the guided tour option of the underground cave. You can't enter the cave alone and must use a guide. The cave system is awesome. It takes about an hour for the entire tour and they provide helmets and foot protection. The caves are very interesting. Our guide... More

We took our 11 and 15 year olds for what we thought would be a few hours and we stayed all day. The underground tour was spectacularly beautiful and fascinating - the most pristine and clear water, almost didn't need the mask. Our tour guide Emanuel was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his work. The above ground cenotes were also... More

We walked across the street from our hotel to Ecopark Kantun Chi. I think we arrived before they were open but they were helpful and we ended up booking the first tour of the grutaventura. While we were waiting we got to visit Cenote Kantun Chi and because there was no one else there got to explore it on our... More

My wife wanted to visit Cenotes this trip and we hit the Mother Lode right across the street from our resort with Ecopark Kantun Chi. This place is truly magical! We opted for the full Cenote/Underground Cave Tour and were blown away. After gearing us up with lifejackets, hardhats, watershoes and goggles our enthusiastic, knowledgeable guide Miguel took us on... More

Beautiful, chilled and quiet. Do the underground caverns tour with lunch waiting for you in the afternoon. A little piece of paradise just waiting for you to find.

The grounds are very well taken care of and beautiful. The cenotes are varied and fun to swim and snorkel in. Be sure to do the underground river part of the tour -- it's very beautiful, but more like a cave than an underground river. Our guide, Saul, was very enthusiastic and fun. The four at the restaurant after the... More

Th grounds were lovely, our guide Saul was very pleasant, not pushy and well versed in English and Spanish. If you want to take a tour of cenotes and underground caverns, it is excellent. Our trip includes all the tours along with lunch. Once there you can stay and hang out at the cenotes and sit in the shady hammock... More

Spent the morning at Eco Park Kantun- Chi, located just past Puerto Aventuras on the Carretera 307. A Very nice, organized, and completely satisfying adventure. Loved the cave tour hosted by Esau. They provide all the necessary equipment including life vest, water shoes & a necessary helmet ( of which I was happy it is a company safety requirement). We... More

There are two main options once arriving at Kantun Chi. One is to do the outside/more open air cenotes and the other is to do those plus the underground tour of the lakes and waterways. We opted for the second (more expensive option) and it was definitely worth it! Climbing down a deep "well" like hole to an underground cavern... More
