Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing history! The morning tea and homestead tour are a highlight of staying in the region and a great way to get an insight into life on the property and in the past.

I highly recommend everyone take the trip to Dunlop Station. Its place in Outback NSW and Australian history has been extremely significant in the wool industry and supporting services. Kim and her family have made huge inroads to bring back to life this amazing place. It is definitely a must visit, tour and stay, with accommodation options available. As hosts, they are unbelievably informative, friendly and tea coffee and morning tea is exceptional.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour to this original station,a million acres in its heyday! Morning tea was a bit quaint… I’d have preferred a scone with jam…( too much cake)😀 the old woodshed is absolutely fascinating as are the women running the station.

When you first walk in you are very welcome and assured you will have a great time.
Kim(the host) will answer all your questions, she had a lot of morning tea and goodies.she tells you about the past and how it was back in the day.
But the thing that amazed me was how much has changed from now to then. -Chloe.

Dunlop Station was recommended to us by the owner of the caravan park we were staying in, we are proud we went as we had a great time exploring all the history. We were greeted by a huge mourning tea to prepare us for the tour. The Family of Dunlop are so lovely and welcoming. The tour included 3 main locations: The Homestead. A store and the old sheering shed. Kym (Our host) knew lots of history to do with the land to the point where you think she was living in the early 19s when the station originated. We were with a small group which made our tour more personalised with heaps of question time to entertain ourselves. -Chyla 11
