About Baird Bay Ocean Eco Experience
Baird Bay Ocean Eco Experience is a marine experience, once done, you will never forget. None of the marine mammals of Baird Bay have ever been fed, nor have they been enticed in any other way. The interaction is entirely of their choosing and will remain so. Not everyday is perfect, the conditions are wild and free. We give it our best shot for an incredible interaction to happen for you with either the sea lions or dolphins, or at its very best both these beautiful marine mammals on the one tour. No guarantees are promised, but in saying that, we can guarantee the least that will happen, is, you will see the sea lions up close and personal.

After travelling around Australia for 12 months with my husband and kids, this experience was our trip highlight! Amazing day, fantastic staff and awesome value for money.

We are traveling now for around 6 months but that was one of our highlights! First of all the stuff! Everyone was friendly but also “natural”. Not that played kindness you see in so many other tours. The people were authentic and funny. Real Australians! Now the tour. We were

Response from Alan P, Owner at Baird Bay Ocean Eco Experience

I would just like to thank everyone for the positive comments regarding their swim with the Dolphins and Sea Lions. It pleases us immensely that you have all had a great time out with our marine family, and I'm certain the Sea Lions and Dolphins have enjoyed your company as well. The animals do their best to show themselves off to the swimmers, it's great that you have all enjoyed and respected them so much, this in turn makes our job easy. We have had a bit of a battle with the cool conditions this year, I think the coldest start to the season in about 25 years. The water has at long last warmed up, just short of 19 degrees at the moment, so fairly easy to get into. Last seasons pups are getting involved, though they have been slow off the mark. Usually they are in your face at 8 months old, now they are around 10 to 12 months and getting there, so still looks good for this group. Thanks again for the positive comments, spread the word to those who appreciate a unique experience.

It was special right from the minute we arrived in Baird's Bay. What a beautiful setting and off the beaten track. The company is owner run and managed. No big deal, eco friendly boat, no rush and a huge passion for the animals in the bay. The diving with the sea lions was a

The sea lions are as interested in you as you are with them. Get in the water and they check you out! Most of them have been named by the crew, I had a very upfront meeting with Margaret, she put her face against my mask, I could feel her whiskers on my face. I lifted my hand

Firstly, if you're in a campervan it is possible to get to. We were almost put off by the dirt track in an RV but the road is in good condition. We just took it nice and slowly, 20 - 30km. We stayed in the small camping area at the start of the little bay ($10 honesty box) it
