This town is what you would probably picture old Italy would look like. It's small and charming. It's not so popular so we can relax as you visit the city. Not crowded at all and you can still see many interesting corners everywhere.

We spent a couple of hours here including lunch, small lovely village (old town section) the buildings are amazing and you can feel the history of this place on every gate / door / wall. There are some unique craft shops and a few restaurants

Well worth the stop - go see Silva. The museum shows life from the 1800s and the castle and grounds are so much older than that. Then stop for a delicious wine tasting. Put this location on your list to visit!

The place is beutiful, not in the real world, picturesque buildings, flowers, nothing to disturb the harmony. But, maybe, there should be more people, more life, more kids playing, not only cats...

When we visited Italy we chose to stay in Semproniano rather than a large city. While exploring the Tuscany area, we happened upon Montemerano and took time to explore. Wonderful architecture..........great place to take photographs.
