Visit this church if you are in Montemerano it is nearly always open. The frescos are very impressive.

One of the most beautiful small churches we have visited in Italy.....and we have visited hundreds! Exquisite frescos, statuary, architecture and of course....."The Cat Hole"! A must see in this absolutely charming village!
