Nice church and building. One of the places you have to visit in Puebla. In historical downtown. Nice church and building. One of the places you have to visit in Puebla. In historical downtown.

The ornate interiors of this church are truly outstanding with a lot of gold plated altars. From outside the chapel looks ordinary but after entering one is completely speechless. Don't miss this most beautiful church on your tour of Puebla

The church doesn't look like much from the outside and even the main nave, although beautiful and intricately decorated, is not particularly impressive. But as you approach the altar and look to the left side the almost 100% golden chapel is a sight to behold....More

Gorgeous chapel - a must see. Take the time to listen to the 10 minute talk by the guides in the church (in Spanish, if you can understand). They point out a lot of interesting facts.

Wow. What a church. It’s not much from the outside but jaw dropping inside. Be forewarned they don’t like pictures being taken. Help them keep up with the maintenance and donate a few pesos.

The Sto Domingo church was amazing and then we went into the chapel. Speechless. What a riot of gold carving, detail, totally jaw dropping.

This chapel is covered in gold more so than most in /Europe. Displayed the artistry available in this beautiful city and support for the craftsmanship as well as devotion to display.

The Capilla del Rosario, a side chapel in the Santo Domingo Church, is amazing for its floor-to-ceiling decoration. Go when you can take the time to sit down and really take it all in and search out some of the details Think about the people...More

This is a lovely church that you won't want to miss. All covered in gold, such a piece of art. There are free tours on it, where you can learn a little bit about the history, just don't forget to tip the guide.
