You just have to see it to believe it. The detail, the hours of work involved, the history. Every single thing in this church has a story behind it.

We have visited a lot of churches in Mexico, and this chapel is about the best. It is a reasonable size and is an amazing gold extravaganza. The bonus is finding and walking the Calle Cinco de Mayo pedestrian street.

Simply over the top GOLD. This should be the very first place you visit in Puebla if you only have a short period of time in the city

Decorative chapel. It was very easy to find and there was no charge to enter. It was one of many highlights of my visit to Puebla

The inside of this church is really something to behold. Incredible artistry, with loads of gold and colour. No admission charge, but there is a place for donations to help repair earthquake damage.

If you are a bit "Churched Out"...pay a visit! This is definitely worth-while and not the kind of stuff you normally see in religious temples. Won't take too long, it is free and you'll be amazed by its beauty and detail.

I am not Catholic but something that I appreciate is the architecture of the churches and know about the history of it. This is something you would like to know.

From outside, probably you cannot see how beautiful this chapel is. But once you go into this building, everything will be changed. Catedral of Puebla is of course a great church. But this chapel is great in the different meaning. I expect you'll take breath...More
