While the exterior is quite exquisit carvings, the interior of the church is rather plain compared to other cathedrals that I have visited.

What a beautiful cathedral. It's amazing to see specially at night when its lit up. There are vendors outside selling food. So sit and relax after you've been to mass

Astonishingly intricate stone carved facade. Beautiful pink stone. Interior surprisingly plain. Definitely worth a quick visit.

It was a surreal experience and across from our hotel so even better! The architecture was unbelievable and upon entering, there was a different air about the environment. Absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to go back!!

The cathedral in Zacatecas it's a fine piece of art full of history. You can get the full story about it at Museo Zacatecano. Zacatecas is an amazing place to visit.
