We had the privilege of visiting this sight with a local who gave us a great tour and explained to us the architecture. This is truly a must if you visit Morelia.

This is a historical building arranged as museum. It had the taste of colonial days and the awesome of modern art collections. It's always a pleasure to get in there even just for a walk.

Many of the artists studios are not open all the time but the gift shop is first rate. This is operated by the local government. Artists who have studios or sales space are juried in so the quality of the work is high.
