The staff was great but the course overpriced and mediocre. We played 18 holes (2x9) and the pace of play was slow the first 9. The course has many left doglegs and since it is so hard and dry our balls didn't stick. We got a great deal on GolfNow which made it a decent value for us.

Not the best course by far, but a lot sand and many dog leg lefts make it challenging. Also, the greens were very hard so it was difficult to get your approaches to stick (if you weren't in the sand). Only nine holes but on vacation that is enough. A little over priced but relatively inexpensive in the Cabo area.

A short 9-hole course that winds through the Mayan condominiums in a busy part of San Jose del Cabo. be careful not to hit the porches, verandas and windows of those who live (very) close to the course. No driving range or anything fancy, just a small course good for walking or finishing in an hour or so.

We could see this course from our balcony so we decided to give it a try. It's $90 USD to play 18 holes (play the 9 holes twice). Course is fine, certainly not a high end course, but in pretty good shape for as much play as it gets. Seemed like a lot of regulars there. No practice facility, just... More

Beautiful spot but the pools are freezing and not enjoyable. Even the hot tubs are cold. The pools are empty because no one is swimming. Drinks are very expensive.Staff acts like they are doing you a favor. They need a good manager that can get something done.

We attended a time-share presentation at the Mayan Palace and were totally unimpressed. Although we are not golfers, we would not want to stay there if we were. As one enters this very glitzy "palace," there are Mayan drumbeats playing. The industrial-looking "place" is built in a large horseshoe. Cheaply constructed, it lacks charm. Rooms are narrow, kitchenettes have just... More

We have been to other gimmicky courses in the area, like Palmilla and Campestre, but Punta Sur is the one we keep going back to. Palmilla and Campestre have beautiful views, but we find target golf very frustrating - and we are both very decent golfers. What's wrong with having a wide open fairway occasionally?! Punta Sur, (not sure why... More

Fun to play. Good deal if staying at club LA Costa. Clean and well maintained. Food is not bad. Very helpful staff. A Web page to book would be helpful.

Do not take the speal it is a joke. They don't know how to say no. Say it's only 90 minutes. Say you will get incentives. Then after 3 hours you say no they aren't happy and start arguing with you. By the time I walked out I was ready to punch the person and I wasn't the only one... More

We golfed almost every other day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although only 9 wholes it is cha,,ending enough for us. The par 3 are probably the most diffult. Like an executive course but reasonable for us s we own a membership.
