We visited on a Monday, when the place was virtually devoid of other visitors, but were not offered any guide services or other amenities that might have enhanced our enjoyment. The ticket-seller (who spoke little English) showed us a laminated copy of the layout, but had nothing to hand out to visitors... no map, no brochure, nada. We had to... More

Many different kind of spices at the nursery and in the garden. Gave you both educational experience and leisure, photo opportunity.

The nursery offers bicycle for rent to bike around the marina area. On Fridays there is a tribal market open for viewing next to the nursery.

This garden has some of the most beautiful and unusual cactus plants available in Mexico. I love the way it is landscaped, with walkways, pavillion, fountains and cactus plant patterns.

Terribly over-rated. I went here wanting to enjoy the place as I go to botanical gardens every chance I get. I was ready for the advertised "thousands" of types of cactus. Instead there were only a few types repeated over and over. Worse yet, the cactus in many parts of the "nursery" are dried out and dead - how much... More

We took two buses from where we were staying and found ourselves in a beautiful setting where we were the only visitors. There were workers who seemed to be preparing for a special event but no one disturbed us and we just wandered on our own looking at plants, small huts with regional contents and an amazing sculpture garden with... Baja is a desert so i find very appealing this "oasis". You must wear a hat if you go there. Theres a lot of walking involved but its worth it. Dont forget your camera.

We enjoyed the visit. As mentioned in other reviews Juanito was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. We learned a lot about cacti as well as medicinal use of some of the other flora. Although we went early morning it was very hot. Take lots of water. There is a nice oasis under the mangos with some seating to... More

Lots of pots with cactus. We entered at the front on the way to the marina. I don't understand why it has received good reviews.

We stumbled upon the Wirikuta Garden on our way to the Ganzo beach club, and we couldn't have been happier with our little detour. The garden was full of several species of exquisite cacti, and our tour guide, Juanito, was excellent! You can tell that Juanito really loves what he does, and that he enjoys sharing his vast knowledge of... More
