We visited the SJC Church during the art walk they host on Thursday nights. There is a plaque outside the church that explains its history. Inside, it is a beautiful, old church that is the anchor of the main square.

We have seen many churches and cathedrals throughout our travels. In it's simplicity this mission style church depicts a past time when this area was much more simple Surrounded by a large plain plaza with few trees due to polictical debate the church stands on...More

We stopped by on a Sunday and waited until mass let out and it seemed like you were taken back in time. Centrally located in town so you can't miss it. PS don't forget to drop a few $$ in the alms box.

Historic church dates back to the 1800's. The church is located in the historic district of San Jose del Cabo. Not a large church, traditional Spanish style, May not be worth driving to the town just to see the church.

On Christmas day we walked to town from the Beach area to stop by the church and say a Christmas prayer. This is a very nice historic church and is a beautiful sanctuary. Worth a stop and please make a donation while your are there.

Beautiful service for Christmas Eve Mass! I appreciated that mass was said completely in Spanish, even though I only understand a pequeño!
