Buttressed by the Mission San Jose Del Cabo, the square comes to life at sundown. It is adjacent to the Art District with its many antique, object d'art and local shops, where one can purchase 'touristy' t-shirts, wrist-bands, and the like up to silver, opals, painting, stoneware and the like. And not to forget the abundance of food availability from... More

Much more authentic and friendly than Cabo! Loved our visit! Found some great spots to have authentic Mexican food.

A good way to spent several hours and enjoy some local flavor. There are not a lot of the usual touristy T shirt shops you normally see, which is a pleasant change. It would be nice if you could get a bottom line price on goods without all the dickering.

We had only 90 minutes to spend here during our City Tour. Other activities in the afternoon and evenings. We were informed that this is a great place to be during the evenings, Thursday I believe. Apparently this is a heavy Art area and they have gatherings once a week (?) when vendors and artist display their goods in the... More

Very nice part of San Jose del Cabo. Many local artists set up table and show their work. Very interesting art work. Purchased a very nice piece that was made from recycled materials. Lots of really good restaurants and other shopping within the area. Plane a great dinner and a few hours to just wander around.

This place should not be open to guests. The noise level is unbearable. Walls are trembling. Half the place is closed for construction. They did not warn us. My little kids can't sleep until after the construction stops which is 9pm 7 days a week. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Plenty of other hotels nearby.

I was told the main square in San Jose Del cabo was small and the marina in Cabo San Lucas was much better, I totally disagree. There was a lot to see in the main square and many great choices for dinner, lunch or to just enjoy a couple of drink. Ate at Jazmin's restaurant and it was delicious with... More

We walked over from our resort to do some shopping and to see the church near the square. Nothing really special about the square but worth seeing if you want to get out and visit the local shops(which all sell stuff for tourists)

Best Day to visit is Thursday Afternoon / Night! And form the main plaza you can start the "Art Walk" down a closed pedestrian street.
