Los Cobos is a place where you find a lot of bars, restaurants and live music. You can take a taxi boat to go to nice small beaches and to the famous Arch.

This area is a very old part of San Jose, with cobblestone streets, old churches and buildings, restaurants and shops. But be very wary on buying anything here. These stores are trying to take advantage of the tourists only coming to these kind of shops....More

You can use US dollars and your visa but you'll pay a bit more. Most shops barter on their own conversion and prefer US dollars. But you'll get better deals with peso.

Absolutely. It's the Routa del Desierto. It's opposite the Mega Mall. It will take you directly to where the Marina is and where the tours begin. It's about 30 to 45 minutes in air conditioned comfort. Cost is $ 2 us

We booked through Costco . 2 people including airfare 4,500.00 - 3,500.00. Just depends on which hotel you pick. And of course time of year.
