We walked through the San Jose del Cabo main square after a visit to the church. It's a serene place with fountains, flowers, trees and a bandstand near the middle. When we visited, there was also a huge Mexican flag at one end, celebrating Mexican...More

Special place with a more relaxed pace than its larger cousin, Cabo San Lucas. Terrific hospitality around every corner. Great place to wander

The main square of San Jose del Cabo has an excellent leather sandal shop, with an extensive selection of women and men's sandal styles. This is the main reason I go to this area.

The San Jose del Cabo square is nice place to visit. Walking through the town center, visiting the shops and restaurants was a good experience. At night, the locals visit the square for family outings. There are food carts, cantinas, souvenir shops, cigar & restaurants...More

Nice church near by. Look for the huge Mexican flag. Lots of shops and restaurants around the area. The square itself is a great place to just sit and people watch if there are no festivities going on.

We went to Mass at the Catholic Church and then went outside to the Plaza/main square. It was beautiful and we enjoyed the celebration /dancing there.

The Art Walk is on Thursday nights. They’re hosting it even during construction as it takes place in the art galleries and businesses that surround the plaza. I recommend Ivan Guaderrama’s art gallery. Very unique and... More
