I am an avid retired Ohio gringo living full time in SJD. Want to share with golfing visitors that there are ways to save on green fee costs. First, Questro Group owns CAMPESTRE, PLC and CABO REAL. they offer 2-4 course and player/round packages. They all offer reduced afternoon packages. Check internet or hotel consign.... I played Campestre on March 15th and enjoyed my round. Below are a few thoughts on my experience. Price- I was able to book through a local agency and ended up paying $145. The price included a golf cart with GPS, bottles of water, and the driving range. I teed off of at 10am, so it was not a reduced... More

An amazing Jack Nickalus 18 hole design that plays up and down the slopes allowing you gorgeous views of the town, the sea and the coast. Greens are large and undulating and the fairways generous but trouble waits always on the left side of the golf course (a Nickalus signature!) and big numbers can jump up at you in a... More

This is a decent golf course, offering some lovely views, adequate hire equipment and some challenging golf, particularly around and on the greens. We were well looked after from the moment that we arrived to the time that we left and, by Cabo prices, the deal that we got was very good.

The condition of this course is the best I experienced during our week in Los Cabos. A surplus of bunkers added to the challenge, and the greens were not pushovers. But the course was immaculate, the landscaping was imaginative and well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The fish tacos in the snack bar post-round were amazing! I... More

We've played Campestre in years past on our annual vacations to Los Cabos, and while it's certainly a tough course, it's always been fair. More to the point of this review, the greens are heavily contoured, but they've always been challenging while still playable. Today was drastically different. The greens were as hard as glass and even faster than that.... More

Course condition was very good. The fairways are fairly open, but you pay for it with multi-tiered greens. Lots of elevation, but seems like more up holes than down for some reason. Biggest disappointment was the fact we didnt see a cart girl until the 13th hole, had to wait for the turn for some much needed food and beer.... More

My husband and a group of guys tried this course and enjoyed it. He said the fairways were wide, a lot of sand bunkers throughout, the greens were fast and challenging. Their group was split up, they don't allow groups larger than 4. Their golf carts were timed. They had gps units, that timed golfers at each hole. They were... More

We played Campestre twice on our vacation here in December. We also played Puerto Los Cabos. Campestre isn't quite as glitzy as Puerto Los Cabos (where you get free food for your $200 green fee), but I think Campestre was the better value. We played the twilight rate (and squeezed the full 18 holes in both times) for $105/per person.... More
