A Short but interesting glass blowing demo culminating in a drunken turtle. Large shop area but unfortunately not enough time to shop properly. It was good to hear that most if not all the glass used is from recycling bottles from the area. Some beautiful stained glass windows and floor work. Wish we had been there longer.

We walked to The Glass Factory and it may be easier for most people to take an Uber. The area becomes “not so nice” rather quickly and for most of the walk. At the Glass Factory, they have seats/bleachers where you can sit and watch the glass makers work. You can also walk around and purchase some of the very many already created glasswork. There is also a very pretty area inside, under the dome, for pictures. If you have the time, this is worth the visit.

Took a cab here from our hotel on a cloudy/rainy morning for something to do. Was recommended to go early to observe them blowing the glass into various shapes, wares, etc. Was interesting for us. There are tons of things to purchase so allow time to look. Bought a drinking glass and a heart for about $20 USD - little overpriced but that's what you get at a place like this. Other places in town sell hearts but I didn't see as many cool drinking glasses at other places as I did here. Allow maybe an hour here. We liked it.

Watch the artists blowing glass. Amazing. Simple place. Right in front of your eyes. They made a turtle worth tequila bottle and a sombrero. I can sit hours just watching them.

We took a taxi from our resort to the glass factory. Admission was free. The glassblowers were amazing to watch using all recycled glass to create beautiful pieces. We learned about the craft by asking them questions and showed our appreciation by leaving a tip. We took some great photos. The gift shop was a bit pricey but worth it after seeing the artisans make each piece.
