We were very lucky on our whale watching trip this week as Captain Mark and his crew member Elizabeth situated us close to a pod of 7 pilot whales. They cut the engines and while we drifted were surrounded by the whales diving and swimming....More

On our way to Ingonish we took a 2 hour tour with the Captain Marks team. Michelle, Captain Ron caotain Gilles. They were informative and fun. We saw pilot whales and a minkos whale. Well worth the stop in Pleasant Bay.

We were excited to go whale watching in Pleasant Bay and picked Capt.Mark's for our trip. We appreciated the warning on their website to allow an additional 20 minutes for construction delays - we needed it! We've been on whale watch cruises many times and...More

August 2018, sea swells 6-10 feet with enough wind to bring up white-caps. Ron (excellent job!) piloted our zodiac group upwind through the waves, timing our motion over the waves to provide maximum comfort. We in fact did spot groups of pilot whales, a couple...More

We were not disappointed. We got wet, very salty, saw whales, saw seals, saw interesting landscape. We did not get sea sick, we chewed gum. Great experience.

Thank you for your interest in Capt Mark's. Unfortunately, we are closed September 15th. The fall is a windy time of year when most tours are canceled due to wind and the whales are heading back in October. I hooe this helps.
