Went on this tour with Nong Khiaw Adveture Tours owned by Mr Mang. It was only 170k Kips per person. You could also do it yourself by arranging for a boatman to take you to the village where the trek originates and get a local...More

We visited as part of an organised boat trip. It's quite a long walk (4km) but not too difficult except for a steep rocky part at the end. Bring swimming stuff and you will be refreshed!!

I'll start with saying that it was a nice 1 day trek. Nice views, nice to walk through the waterfalls. But it didn't feel like there were a lot of waterfalls there and they are not so impressive. How to get there and not through...More

The hike up the 100 Waterfall was interesting but not as challenging because my friend and I went there during the dry season. We get to go through a village before the hike up and the countryside view is something you won't get to experience...More

Firstly you do not have to use Tiger Trails to do this trek. There are another two trekking companies that you can use. We made our own way up to Nong Khiaw (motorbike) but there are other options (minivan, public bus). And we booked the...More

Had a good trek up the waterfall with tiger trails and it is a good experience indeed. But the way it is marketed and spoken about, made me feel like this was heaven on earth. It was not. I would still recommend this trip.

Hi everyone Do you know if you can do the 100 Waterfalls trek without a tour company. Happy to pay a local guide - I notice Shane M used a guide. How do you organise a local guide? Thanks Kirstie

Yes, you can do it without booking a tour - you just have to hire a boat from Nong Khiaw to get there and then pay for a local guide (it's not possible to find it yourself, especially with possible UXO) - see my review from... More
