"La Esquina", Mexican Folk toy museum, is a cultural institution devoted to preserve Mexican toys and playful domains. In order to spread its collection , that consists by more than one thousand objects, this first in its genre country-wide museum was created to permanently-wise exhibit, this rustic toy heritage acquired by Angélica Tijerina over the course of fifty years. The toys are considered samples of the artisans production history in México.

This is a lovely museum to walk around and would highly recommend to everyone even without children. So many old fashioned toys to see. We had young children (1&3 yrs) and they were a little too young to understand they weren’t allowed to touch everything....More

walking around san miguel, we stumble with this establishment, where you will find an amazing collection of traditional hand made mexican toys, you will be amazed by the diversity and ingenuity of the collection, and the building is also very nice.

You won't believe all the different toys that are made all over Mexico, each with their local style from that area of Mexico. Look from the miniature chess set. The detail is unreal. I have a new appreciation for handi-crafts now.

We tried to tour the museum but they were closing so we went to their gift shop instead. It is two small rooms and they have some fun and interesting items for sale.
