I love a market I don't care how much junk there is. The colour, spectacle and Mexican arts and crafts are worth a look. This is a typical traditional Mexican tourist market with scarfs, purses, jewellery, paintings and bizarre sculptures. What's not to like.

Good juice and torta stands inside for a yummy and cheap lunch. The market is overpriced, people don't bargain in it (& I tried EVERYWHERE and am a world traveler and pretty decent bargainer). Go to the Tuesday market where I bought, last week, a...More

Great shopping and awesome deals. If you are bringing children, it is hard to navigate with a stroller. So wear your infant in a carrier. Be ready to bargain!
