Came here for a family dinner around Christmas. The menu appears to have changed slightly but options are still excellent - plenty of classic and some slightly fancier British dishes as well as specials.

I saw no dogs when I visited the pub. Food is served at tables in one of the bars so I would imagine that dogs would not be welcome there. The beer garden to the rear of the property is enclosed and quite large but there are children's climbing frames. This might once again make it a difficult situation for dogs and owners.
All the above rather depends on breed, temperament and behaviour. I am sure that a phone call/email to the pub would confirm their thoughts on this.
