Beautiful place in the jungle that helps to support the struggling ecosystem and Mayan people of the area. Kind, friendly, and patient guides walk through this jungle oasis. Phenomenal experience!

If you're visiting the Coba ruins, you should definitely tack on a trip here for a few hours. They offer a package that includes participating in a Mayan ceremony, looking for spider moneys and visiting (and swimming in) a cenote. It may not sound like...More

3 out of 4 in treatment for Legionella. This Ceneto is very small, stagnant water, and has bats crap in the water. The Legionella is not just any type but a pretty nasty one. Our cases are being followed up by the UK authorities with...More

This place is also known as the Spider Monkey Reserve or Otoch Ma'ax Yetel Kooh - but whatever you call it, it's a special place. Unlike other sanctuaries that are little more than glorified zoos, this is just that: a huge tract of land and...More

Go on your own without a tour. Rent a car and set it up directly yourself. Jesus was an amazing guide. He truly loves the jungle, his culture and his job. He loves the environment and that comes through. This tour is not for everyone...More

I'm giving Punta Laguna a 5-star review in support of the work being done by the local community to protect this area and its flora and fauna. We visited to see the spider monkeys and do some birding. After experiencing some of the more touristy...More

It was nice to meet and talk with local people away from the resort areas, and to share their appreciation for nature

We booked with Jesus via FB last week, and the cost was 600 pesos per person. The walk in the jungle, zip-line, and canoeing were all cool. My favorite part of the tour was going down to the cenote. This is one of the few...More

We spent the afternoon here after visiting Coba ruins and it was one of the highlights of our whole trip. We only saw 1 monkey for a couple of minutes, but the jungle walk was fab. We crossed the beautiful crocodile lagoon on a zip...More
