It is a beautiful place. You can see the forest, the monkeys, insects, and have a walk with a guide. There is a small store with clothes done by the women of the community

This is one of the best little places to visit in the area, especially if you have plenty of time and want to take it easy. Watching the sun set over the lake and hearing the birds sing as night falls is a special treat...More

Great place to visit and see wild monkeys. You have to pay for a guide but it still comes out to about $10 a person. Our guide was knowledgeable and skilled in animal calls getting the howler to respond to him. The trails are easily...More

We visited Punta Laguna, as part of our tour with Mercanti Travel. It was a fabulous part of our tour, we had a Mayan blessing before entering the jungle. We trekked for a while before our guide found a howler monkey for us to observe,...More

We were there last week. We arrived very easily by car -- no tourist buses there at all. They have different things you can do: Jungle walk with a guide (ceremony with shaman prior), canoeing on the lake, zip line and a... More
