I think this place is also know as Cenote Calavera. It is near Grand Cenote, on the way to Coba. I went here as part of a tour, but you don't have to be with a tour. Unless you are a Scuba diver, this place...More

Liked this cenote scuba experience better than Car Wash; would liked to have hung out for swimming here, too. Super-fun jump into the water (~2-3 meters) while fully loaded with scuba tanks! If you have a bat hangup, this place is not for you.

I did a scuba dive here. The halocline effects in this cenote are incredible, and there aren't a lot of people. Would happily go back.

We never did get to swim at this cenote, which we were bummed about, but I thought I would just mention a couple things – this cenote has no lockers, and it also closes earlier than the other cenotes in the area. The first day...More
