We had a lovely day here. The beach is super beautiful, fine sand and no seaweed which seemed to affect the public beach just down the road. Not crazy busy and lots of umbrellas and beds to hire. The serving staff are a little slow and the bar/restaurant closed at around 4.30pm which seemed a little odd as the sun... More

Paraiso means haven, and that's exactly what this is! right now we are on the seagrass season and it could be slightly affected by it, but i say, let's the nature do it's course and let us be passengers of this beautiful nature. We went for a long walk on the shore and it was the best thing ever!

What a beautiful beach. We decided to spend a few hours on the beach when we visited the Ruins at Tulum. It was just a short walk from the Ruins. We walked through one of the hotels on the beach front and was astounded at its beauty.

Otherwise, would have been a wonderful beach. It's long, white powder sand. Lots of restaurants and bars that you can pop into (and what's great is that they don't protrude onto the beach). Problem was the thick bank of seaweed that was both unsightly and gave off a bit of a pong. But that's nature for you. The sea was... More

The beaches in Tulum are special. I went to Playa Paraiso on a weekend which of course is super crowded. Everyone is so happy, it was fun, upbeat, great for people watching! Did I mention relaxing. Great walking on Tulum Beach, it goes on forever. The sand in Tulum is the best, softest beach sand ever and I have been... More

This is one of the most beautiful beaches, with white sand and incredible blue waters. It has a mix of everything, food, activities, people watching, entertainers and chair rentals of every kind. There is an area packed with activities but you can walk a bit away and get to areas with less people and just beach area. Some people liked... More

Playa Paraiso is gorgeous, has a great restaurant and the best snorkeling tour (I think it's called Iris Tours?) on the beach just not associated with Paraiso. It cost $30 for TWO people! Boat ride & staff was amazing & friendly. Toured around Tulum Ruins them snorkels in the reef and saw beautiful fish & huge seat turtles! Best experience... More

Amazingly beautiful location, aqua sea, white sand, stunning. With a great beach club with 4 poster beds and huge round mattresses on the beach ... and you get your own table and chairs to have lunch/dinner and drinks. You have to go! When we were there a sax was being played beautifully and the food was fab.

Absolutely beautiful beach with gentle waves and an amazing view of the ruins. The water is so clear and warm, this beach is heavenly! A must stop after a visit to the ruins.
