About
We are undoubtedly the Mexican Caribbean beach club par excellence. With 650 ft. of the best beach in Playa Del Carmen, we provide services and comforts of first quality to our guests: modern restrooms equipped with air-conditioning, showers, kids pool, an area with massage service, and 300 deck chairs and 100 beach umbrellas and towels for rent, parking lot with valet parking, Wi-Fi service and private security. You can have breakfast and/or lunch at Mamita's Restaurant which is open 365 days a year and can host 100 dinner guests. Our menu offers an important variety of meals for all tastes, and a bar with delicious drinks and cocktails, national and imported drinks. Our VIP side for people over 18 years old, has a DJ Live Set every day, a front beach pool and all the fun.

As is typical of most of the beach cubs in the area, you are asked to pay a large sum of money upfront, of which the main proportion can be used to offset your food & beverage bill. We paid 1400 MXN for two people (covering beach chairs and umbrella with 1000 MXN to spend on F&B). Of course, the food and drinks prices are on the high side as this is how the club makes its money. Still, we enjoyed our time here and found a nice spot near the beach. Waiter service is slow and it's worth noting that, as this is a public beach, even if you find a beach chair on the front row someone will undoubtedly camp in front of you with their beach towels.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 5 May 2024

Wanted to spend the day on the beach. Mamitas solved the perfectly. For 1000 pesos we got two sunbeds, umbrella, burger and fries twice in restaurant, and 3 corona. Excellent WiFi on beach too. Staff very friendly and super service. Beach is nice and the sea is lovely. Can’t be beaten. Just Perfect.

We went to Mamita’s on a Monday. We got there when they opened around 9 AM and stayed until around 2 in the afternoon. We opted for the poolside seats, and we were the only ones there the entire time (people were starting to arrive as we were leaving). The beach area started to fill up, but we had the pool and pool deck to ourselves. The admission fee was, I think, around 2000 or 2500 pesos, much of which could be used toward food and beverages (we used it all, plus some). The music was good and the DJ came about 11 AM or so and played some good music. We had the nachos which were very good. Beer and shots were reasonably priced. Good experience and we will definitely go there again next time we are in PDC!

Very bad service , very small portions we felt rushed to eat and were supposed to get 15% off. The prices are so high and don't think they even had the percentage off the bill. Dishes taken away quickly and they were very demanding on a 15% tip with the terrible service. Never again would not recommend. Outside restaurants way better not demanding and curtious way better places to go. Beach area was only beautiful.thing we liked.

Excellent place,
the beach is very nice and clean.
The service in the restaurant and on the beach is excellent, the food is very tasty the staff is very attentive.
With the exception of the older woman at the reception she does not speak English well and is not friendly when we arrived we did not understand anything and we were leaving but a very friendly young lady in a black uniform gave us clearer information and we stayed for the day

My favorite beach club in Playa. Great restaurant, drinks, and waiters are always making sure you have everything you need. Very professional, friendly staff.. Extremely convenient to heart of Playa and 5th Ave. Most of your entry fee is credited to your final tab so it’s super inexpensive way to relax in a lounge chair and be waited on all day. Cheap towel rental if you forget yours. Or, I’ve also done VIP, pool, beds.. DJ… great experience… costs a bit more, but again almost all of that offsets your tab… Highly recommend…

Spent a day at Mamita's as it was very close to where we were staying. We found them to have excellent service and good food and drinks. My only negative would be that they are not as kid friendly as we wanted to be on the beach and if we wanted to use the kid's pool, one of us would be charged extra pesos to be at the pool with the child whereas Kool Beach Club is not like that. For couples, the place is very nice.

Pleasant location on the beach. Prices have gone up since other reviews - I think they were asking 1000 pesos $50 per person for the day to sit on the beach in their chairs or $2000 to sit at the pool. Sounds like you work away at some of that with food / bev purchases. I ate at restaurant instead. The ceviche was pretty good and 230 pesos ($12) and beer 55 pesos so I got my moneys worth including a nice view for a bit. But yes you don't need to pay this to enjoy the beach.

This place is so poorly run. It says online “beach club with DJ”. The DJ is by the pool. I got my wristband (for 1000 pesos) and headed towards the DJ. Apparently you need a different wristband to go to the pool which they did not inform me of at check in. After more confusion and wandering around, I was seated at the beach. You get 700 pesos in credit. I didn’t see my waiter for at least half an hour. He comes over and asks what I want to eat and drink. I say tacos and a drink. He says tacos are only at the restaurant. I say ok then, nachos. Miscommunication - I end up with both of them and have to head to the restaurant. I don’t see him for another hour and I’m ready to use the last of my credit and leave.
The nachos were delicious (hence 2 stars instead of 1) but the tacos were 3 tiny pieces of steak on a tortilla for 350 pesos. Save your money - this is a poorly run terrible place to go.

yes close by so I walked by....and right past Mamitas Beach Club. When I am in Mexico I want to hear Latin music. I found a spot where locals hung out, not tourists, and set up a blanket. Ordered a real and stiff Margarita and fresh ceviche from locals who set up stand and sold for half price. And listened to latin music from my neighbors. I would give it 5 stars if I wanted to feel like I was back in America at a club, but that's not what I'm looking for when vacationing in Mexico.

We’ve been coming to playa for 20+ years and have always come to Mamitas for a day or two, until now. We came to enjoy my birthday; however, the waiter never came to check on us despite having a $1000 peso consumption credit with the umbrella rental. We asked for a menu which we never got and always had to be called over for every order (we ordered three drinks and one meal total). He then demanded a 15% tip which he fought us for and ultimately gave him more than we planned since it’s the worst service we’ve ever received here. On top of this, the food was cold. Looks like we will be finding another beach club for our future visits. Two stars was generous.

Tuvimos un problema sin igual, estaba lloviendo nos resguardamos debajo de la caseta del salvavidas pagamos la entrada al club y encima nos echan diciendo que no podemos estar ahí. Vieron que éramos una pareja gay, buenos varios amigos las personas llamaron a la policia llamándonos jotos. Nosotros alegábamos que no echaran a la señora que tenía un bebé recién nacido por que no tenía donde cubrirse. La policia nos quitó del sitio. No se si se han dado cuenta pero uno de los meseros de mamitas se acercó a decirnos que si queríamos drogas. Es una mafia sois una mafia en la vida volveré y NO RECOMIENDO ESTE SITIO POR SER EL DE MODA

Its more a beach club, like a „lido“ in Italy - no Hotel.
Marmita beach is an area, maybe you have chosen wrong adress for contact???
