These guys know what they're doing. They were professional, on time and very friendly. Our trip was well-planned to avoid the masses at Tulum and the snorkeling places. The van was cleaned at each stop, so that we came back to a clean car after every excursion. Our guide (Javier) had about 5 kinds of tour licenses, including archaeological and... More

We naively went on Trip Advisor and saw this well-rated tour company, and we booked a trip to Chichen Itza. Why? Well, just because seeing the Mayan ruins is one of the reasons tourists come to the Yucatan, plus we did not want to spend the entire week just hanging at the beach. Then serendipity kicked in. Company owner Jay... More

My husband and our 2 children (ages 8 and 11) went on the "basic" Tulum tour which included a tour of the Mayan ruins at Tulum, snorkeling in a cenote and in a mixed salt/fresh water lagoon -- followed by an fantastic oceanside lunch. Jay and Sonja were amazing. Organized, on time and knowledgeable. Sonja helped our novice snorklers get... More

We are two active seniors who did a private tour with Jay and Javier. They are the best! We visited Chichen Itza, cenote Il Kil, and some time in Valladolid. Jay and Javier were both extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. We were kept on schedule all day avoiding the large bus crowds at each stop. Lunch at the cenote was... More

This is our second time going with this company and it is the only company we would tour with in the area. Is it possible to have two BEST DAYS EVER? We were picked up early from our hotel - just the 6 people in our group. The early departure is well worth it as it makes it to where... More

My boyfriend and I spent the day touring Chichen Itza and the Ik-Kil cenote with Ivan, our guide and Gabrielle, our driver. We loved being able to use the time driving to the sites to learn about Mayan history and ask questions about modern day Mexico. Ivan was very knowledgeable, helpful and amiable. I am so glad we decided to... More

We did the Tulum tour plus zip line with Jay, Javier, and Vanessa and can not say enough great things about the tour. Our guides arrived on time to pick us up (5 minutes early!), anticipated our every need and were incredibly knowledgeable about each of our stops. Every stop brought a new adventure and Jay & Javier got us... More

We had the privilege and delight to have one of the owners as the driver. Jay was amazing. His Guide Javier was knowledgeable and entertaining and fun and took pictures for us. They picked us up on time. We got to chitzen Itzu before the crowds. Javier's experience and knowledge made it fun and interesting. We had. Great swim in... More

We booked our our tour to Chichen Itza, a visit to a cenote and then to Vallodolid. Roberto was our guide and Gabriel was our driver and we had a fantastic time from the moment they picked us up at 7am until they dropped us off at 4:30pm. Chichen Itza was amazing and Roberto had us inside and looking around... More

From the very beginning I knew Your Private Tour was a good choice. Within hours of sending an email to book our tour, I received a response form Jay, the owner, with all the details and information we needed to know. He is THOROUGH and cares a lot about his business, a trait I really appreciate when planning a vacation.... More
