Fun but expensive
Sep. 2021
Enjoyed it and service was great, but very expensive. The lazy river is the best. The Cabanas are very nice.

10/10 would recommend!

Wow! Jungala was an excellent experience! Great service from the staff- they work hard to make sure that you have a wonderful visit. The park was NOT full which was amazing. Never waited in a line, tons of chairs and spaces available and WOW. The lazy River was a highlight! Everything was impeccably clean, including the bathrooms, which I know is no small fear at a water park. We had a discounted price since we were staying at the Vidanta but I still think it’s worth it. Skip Xel-ha and head to Jungala!

Short lines, well maintained, nice layout and awesome slides
Jul. 2021 • Family
We got there at 10 and didn't wait in a single line at all for an hour or two, and very short lines after that. My 8 year old son and 9 year old friend, were tall enough to ride everything, but my son was a little below the 40 kilo minimum weight on the one fastest slide that drops you down a vertical tube at the start (which is the most awesome slide I've ridden iny life!) But the other similar chute right next to it was almost as thrilling and he rode that one 20 times. The family inner tube ride was fun too, which the two kids were just heavy enough to ride alone, and them plus us two adults were just barely light enough to ride all together. The lazy river was well done and fast, long, and included a bar along the way. The wave pool was fun and ran often. And the "rainforest" splash area is interesting enough for kids of any age. There's multiple areas of little kid slides too, so I might bring my youngest back here later in the week again. And if staying at Vidanta, it wasn't too expensive. The lunch options are good too, with our chicken sandwich, burger and fries all being twice as big as I assumed, literally. No complaints.

Amazing service in the Cabana area.
Jul. 2021
This place was AWESOME! Due to the traffic issues south of the Iberostar Paraiso resort, we elected to go to the Vidanta property next door and visit Jungala. We had done the research and saw that cabanas are available and that some packages include food and other perks. We learned you can call 24 hours ahead and if cabanas are available, you can reserve at that time. There was nothing available when we called but we went anyways. Upon arrival, WE WERE THE FIRST ONES THERE! We were offered a cabana. We paid $168 US for a private cabana including towels, 4 meals, nachos, fruit bowl, facial mist, water, sunglass cleaning, a safe and personal concierge for the day. This was a bargain considering just a plain ol cabana back home with nothing included runs us about $250 to $350 depending on the day and time of the year. Tickets to the park were about $72 per person. If your kiddos are over 4 feet tall, they pay the adult price. There were very few people at the park which made it that much more enjoyable. No lines for any slides. The wave pool is massive and fun. The lazy river is one of the best I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. The kids loved the water structure and could not get enough of it. Food was excellent. The cabana was very clean and very peaceful for taking a break. The cabana area has private showers and changing rooms for that area. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend JUNGALA!!

No lines, just the right size for 1 day visit
May 2021
My young adult kids spent a day at Jungala while we vacationed at Vidanta Riviera Maya. The park is not huge, so it is easy to do all of the rides for a fun day in the water. They loved it and wanted to go back the next day. We went in May 2021 when the resort was at half capacity due to the pandemic, and the kids said there were no lines to ride at all. Wear a lot of sunscreen! My kids ended up with burns even after applying and reapplying. It is just freaking hot this close to the equator and if you don't heed mother nature's warning, you WILL be sorry. (This is true everywhere in Riviea Maya.)

Jungala Is Fun for Everyone!
May 2021
Six of us visited Jungala during our vacation. We had two grandmothers, two kids, and a mom and dad. We rented a cabana, which I would highly recommend. The cabanas are in the shade of the jungle, they have a locker, towels, and both beverage and food can be brought by a server. There is a little hammock, a bed for lounging, and a table with chairs.

There are a couple of kid water parks that are a lot of fun. One is like a fort where kids can climb and then slide down the different water slides. There is also a very large bucket of water that pours down every so often and creates a giant splash on those who are below it (fun). There are also family slides, and what I would call extreme slides (vertical drops and spins) for the more adventurous person.

Finally, there is a lazy river, but you really don’t swim in it, but rather need to stay in the float that is provided. So, don’t bring any snorkeling gear. All around the water park there are life guards everywhere. You can also purchase a massage so there is something for everyone.

Came back again because your staff is awesome!
Apr. 2021 • Family
Your staff is seriously the best. We came back twice to avoid the crowded hotel pool experience. I wish I remembered the staff names for our first day (room 1079 on 4/1 wave pool area 10-4 if that helps) but Marco (server) and Sahel (lifeguard) made day two awesome. Very personable and super helpful. We came on Easter when they gave kids an egg hunt in the sand. We enjoyed the food there better than our hotel. Wish we could take Jungala (and staff) back to Colorado with us! Thx again!

Have fun in style
Jan. 2021
A wonderful family day at the park! Loved everything about it. Clean, interesting and lots of fun. There are attractions for everyone and plenty of photographers to capture the many expressions. We purchased about 40 pictures for a reasonable price. The cabanas are exceptional and state of the art. Plenty of dry, clean towels, service was impeccable, food and drinks delicious. You would never believe you were in a water park.

Many thanks to Roberto Avila! You always make us feel special with your smiling face and hospitality!

see you soon,

Expensive but worth it for a great day in the water
Feb. 2020
Interesting place – although listed on TripAdvisor and Google, no billboards for it were seen along Route 307 like all the Xcaret related resorts.

Set on the property of the Vidante Resort, you follow the signs to park in the lot for the Vidante Cirque Soleil, then take a little golf cart style shuttle under the highway to the water park. Admission fees are steep, with no online discounts, and kids over a certain height pay full price. Our short 7 year-old grandson got the kids price (only a little less) but the 10 and 12 year old paid the same as adults.

Towels are provided, but they’ll charge your credit card if you don’t return them, and getting a locker cost extra, as does all food and drink. Good news is that the water park itself is gorgeous, the rides are wonderful, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious and upscale.

There’s an area for young kids, with four short slides and a shallow warm water pool; a family area for kids of all ages with numerous slides and other fun features, a family circular tube ride for adults and older kids, and a couple of crazy thrill rides for the intrepid. We were there for over five hours and had a great time, and plan to return on a future trip to the area. Expensive but worth it.
