The tour guide was not very good. At Uxmal he said we should ask questions and his answer to any of our questions was " I don't know ". He would point out items on the ruins but when we ask for more details he only ask was " I don't know ". While we were about to exit the ruins we found an exhibit that give us some wonderful history and some photos of the architectural dig. It was wonderful. Thr guide never mentioned it. When we arrived at Kabah he basically said to watch out for snakes and we will meet at the exist in a half an hour. He said we would drop by the history cocoa that was across from Uxmal but we never did. On the way home he started to fall asleep at the wheel. He driving was very dangerous and was glad we made it home safely. I would suggest going with another company if possible.

They were quick to sign us up for a tour to Chicen Itza and Ek Balam from Merida. We requested everything included but when we reviewed our receipt at the hotel we noticed the did not include the admission to the parks. When we went back we were treated extremely rudely and if we didn’t keep insisting for a refund all day and demand our money back they would have just left us stranded. Do NOT recommend this company at all. They have zero sense of customer service.

We had an excellent guide and a great day touring these sites. The day was perfectly paced, we weren't rushed and enjoyed the lunch stop too.

We rented a private bus and guide with Mayan Heritage to take our family to see Uxmal. George and Francisco were awesome - they were incredibly knowledgeable and personable and made our trip an excellent experience. The ruins themselves were stunning, and nearly empty of tourists. Overall, what an awesome day.

We had booked a tour ran by this company through Viator sold as Uxmal and Kabah Day Trip from Merida. No1 fact: until midday they were still looking for a guide to take us to Uxmal and Kabah, even though the driver (not speaking english) had picked us up since 7:55. As a result we lost almost two hours wondering around a choco museum (!) which was not at all a highlight of our tour! No2 fact: when we finally met our guide, instead of talking to us, he was chating and singing to the driver! No3 fact: the guide was a disaster! Definitely the opposite of the 5 star service we expected from a Greyline suggested tour that we chose to overpay to reassure a quality tour. In both Kabah and Uxmal he was just running away to avoid the other groups (apparently to avoid any comparison) and he was pointing out places to take photos ( as if we needed a photographer, not a guide!) We understood nothing of what he was telling us as he was so brief and he was constantly telling us that he wanted to take us for meditation in the pyramid! No4 fact: He spoke very rudely about a cotraveller who asked him something and since she didn't get any answer, she went to read the sign in front of the monument. He started screaming at us when we left the site after the tour because we did nit follow him to the museum (we never understood that he was going to the museum as well, but even if we did, it would be a waste of time! No5 fact: The tour was including Free access to Uxmal’s First Explorers Gallery located at the main house of the Hotel Hacienda Uxmal, favorite of royalty and dignitaries. As well as Free use of The Lodge at Uxmal facilities: swimming pool, towel, lounge chairs. And lunch at Historic Hacienda Uxmal. We never had time to see the Gallery. We never had time to use the swimming pool. The driver rushed us for a very fast and terrible quality lunch because he said we should transfer two more guests from the Hacienda to Merida. The tour was a complete disaster! Definitely not what we paid for!
