I'm just walked through it, and it's a good glimpse at the life of former colonial Merida to expierence it.

This is open to the public and free. It has amazing Murals by the famous artist, Pacheco. It is worth walking through to see the artwork.

Excellent clean and helpful staff? We felt very much at home and the staff went above and beyond for you. The price was excellent...the room was clean and the decor was superior that I expected.

Although the buildings in Merida are beautiful and well structured, maybe it is better spending the day in the nearby ruins & walk the town in the night..

Large murals in the governor's palace portray the history of colonization and revolt. Worth a visit.

Interesting place, especially because of the attempt made to accommodate both the conquistadores and the native Mayan roots of the place/people. The murals make this a two star (vaut le detour) place to visit.
