Just ok,

Seeing the shark in the pen was sad. It was well fed and looked healthy, but not really our thing to do, so we didn't go in. Cheap like 2-3 bucks to go in. If you want a picture... read more

Gorgeous beach. I wished we would have spent more time here after I found out how great it was. We went to the turtle farm near here which I also highly recommend. Simple and cheap. Loved the turtles.

Seeing the shark in the pen was sad. It was well fed and looked healthy, but not really our thing to do, so we didn't go in. Cheap like 2-3 bucks to go in. If you want a picture then 6 bucks. A few vendors nearby, ok stuff and prices.

Go for the grilled fish at Playa Tiburon but don't support the penned shark business. Good fresh grilled sea bass but you need to pick some bones out. Seems to be mostly locals with lots of beer drinking in case you want to stay away from that. The beach is nothing great and not much else to do there. The... More

We went for the grilled fish dinner. Didn't visit the shark. Many people in this forum are reviewing the shark in a pen - that really something separate in my opinion. Many snorkle trips stop here for their free lunch - we went back off of one of those trips... the whole charcoal grilled fish is delicious. $365 pesos ($40)... More

I visited this atraction as I hoped to spend a nice day on the beach in Isla Mujeres. But when I saw in which cages sharks are hold at this place and even taken out for photos I left immediately. I feel very sorry for them.

It is tradition for us to visit Playa Tiburon for a fish lunch at least once whenever we visit Isla Mujeres. I cannot say that we are fans of the nurse shark tank as it seems cruel. Please think about the poor captive shark before spending your tourist dollars for this part of the attraction. DO enjoy the very typical... More

We stayed there many years ago at the hotel next door. I'm wondering if that hotel is still open. The hotel accomodations were not very good but the pool and beach were amazing. Loved taking golf cart around the island. Very relaxing vacation.

We come here every time we visit the island! It's such a unique experience! You can go through the main building to the beach in the back, have a seat, and enjoy the experience! I highly recommend ordering the whole fish. It will come with tortillas and fixings and you will not regret it (as long as you're a seafood... More

This is a small area of beach where you can hang out, eat, and if you like, get into the water with live Nurse sharks and get a picture taken with them. Not expensive for pictures, and they will also take them with your own camera as well.

We came here to get off the water during a storm, I haven't been here in close to a decade but the food was some of the best we had the entire vacation. The restaurant was packed with locals, so I knew it was going to be amazing. fantastic margaritas.
