Worth visiting

Great turtle rehab facility... simple, informative, definitely worth a visit. Not fussy and "touristy". It IS the real deal when it comes to protecting a few species and helping... read more

Very good price (30 pesos or 3$). I wont mind paying more if someone would have explained how it works.

We went to Tortugranja because I love turtles. These turtles were all in tanks and were sorted by size. The babies were adorable. It is important to note that there is a shark on premise. It is found in the enclosure in the ocean. As someone who is terrified of sharks, it was a bit of a surprise (read- my... More

I only came here as I passed by it on my golf cart ride around the island. It was $3 or 30 pesos, so always have your pesos as that is a rip off exchange rate! You can walk around the whole place in about 5 minutes. Honestly, I would not recommend it, the turtles look very sad and you... More

We went here via golf cart, and took two children aged 3 and 4. They got to pick up the turtles and see all the different phases of growth. Great place to interact with these wonderful creatures. Highly recommend.

It's actually cruel here! They sell food at the entrance to feed the turtles. There was that much food floating around the tanks the turtles weren't even eating it. It really didn't look like they were doing any good here at all.

If you have a heart for animals don't visit this place. It is a big room and the turtles are exposed to tourists without a place to hide or any barrier in between. Very stressful situation for the turtles. The signs say one is not allowed to touch the animals but they are handed around regardless and with no care... More

We paid $3 USD per person. There wasn't a lot to see. Inside area with a few tanks and a number of outside tanks. If we paid more, we would have been really upset. There was a area with a fenced off section to ocean. Looked like turtles were trying to escape. Some were big. Wondered a little bit about... More

Nice displays, not all that expansive, and not necessarily a 'must do' activity, but a nice stop over between town and South Point.

This is a must for anyone on the island visiting. You'll be able to get through it in about 30 minutes but it is a lot of fun for the kids. Get there just before they open and be sure you have some pesos to tip the nice older gentleman to works there. If you do he will let everyone... More
