After about a 50mi ride northeast of the isla the captain found a school of whale sharks. We swam with them and got good pictures. It was a great experience.

If you wear a wetsuit, you do not have to wear a life jacket. They do provide both options. Life vests are free. The wetsuits were $5 usd, I believe. Snorkel equipment is also provided free. Yes, they do private tours if... More

Scuba diving is strictly prohibited with the whale sharks. This is probably a good thing as their lives are disrupted enough as it is with the boats and people all over their feeding ground.
