We took a day trip to Isla and stopped at Garrafon after spending the am cruising the island on our golf cart. Doesn't look like much when you first enter but it was definitely worth it. Inexpensive to get in, food was respectable, beer is...More

Some fellow travelers told us about this cheap snorkeling option. We saw so many fish and it was only $70 pesos.... little more for life jacket and fins. I wish I had my water shoes as the rocks and shells going out can be very...More

Unfortunately we found this place towards the end of our holiday, so we were only able to go a couple of times. For a very reasonable price of 70 pesos per person, compared to Playa Norte which is about 250 each for a sun lounger!...More

Only opened at 10 and closed at 18.00. The place has great shade and loungers for relaxing and a small beach with easy water access. Snorkelling was safe and there were enough fish to keep everyone interested for a while.

This place is small and cozy, food is excellent and cheap. The servers were pleasant and friendly. If you want to spend a day swimming, snorkeling, don't go any further. Our second time there, we will be back for sure.

70 pesos to snorkel----feed the fish...you cant beat this place. Fish literally jumping out of the water. Lots of starfish, some sand dollars.... make sure you swim everywhere as over to the left was a ton of larger more diverse fish

Every visit we go to Garrafon de Castilla the snorkeling and view can't compare for the price. It was 70 pesos a person for entry which is a very good deal. We did have an issue with our bill having an added "service" fee. Not...More

Visited to snorkel mostly. Entrance fee of 70 pesos. Snorkeling was just okay, weather wasn't great, so hard to swim against the swells, just a few fish...until I decided to buy food. Then it was a frenzy of fin. A very entertaining frenzy. There is...More

Not sure about the previous post but while we were there a family tried to take in their left over pizza and were not allowed. Went there 3-4 times and never saw anyone take in their own food and drink. Not sure if you would... More

Yes, used mask, mouth piece and flippers (the flippers for an extra charge, but I don't think it was too much). Next time though, we'll probably take our own - at least the mouth piece.
