The only way to really get to know Cozumel is to stay in town - and the town is actually called San Miguel - the island is called Cozumel. The town boasts more great restaurants than most much larger cities. And there is great live...More

Walking the city worth it. Leave the main strip where there are all the big stores ans restaurants, and go inside the city about 4 or 5 streets from the Ocean and you will discover local sore and restaurants.

I really loved the town. Lots and lots and lots of stores and shopping mixed with nice shops and tacky ones also. But that is what makes the town. You can find something here. The cruise ships can overwhelm the town, especially when there are...More

the one place you can feel safe in Mexico, Cozumel is family orientated there are great places to eat and tours to take. But Scuba Diving with Cozumel Marine World is the best place.

We love San Miguel. It's a quaint little town. We recommend visiting when the cruise ships are not in port. The crowds are much smaller and the shop prices are better.
