A beautiful place to visit or swim.

Our tour guide stopped here to allow us to take pictures, relax, and even purchase some gifts. A beautiful view of the surf crashing into the rock formations.

We were not there long, but the stop was worth the photo opportunity and the chance to experience this lovely spot.

Part of a cruise ship multipart tour. short 15-20 minute stay to take photos and marvel at the Caribbean wild surf! Very primitive WC facilities across the road and a good number of food and craft vendors to sample coconut drinks and others. The coral walk out to sea is VERY sharp and only suggested for very agile and nimble... More

Stunning, beautiful, amazing.... The color of the water if something that I have never ever seen before, maybe in a painting. But, at first sight your eyes are not used to that color, then you keep processing the new information. The owner of the restaurant could be more careful in collecting the garbage his restaurant produces. Nature says THANK YOU!

Thankful to our cab driver, Humberto who provided us a tour of the less touristy part of the island. El Mirador was spectacular and highly recommended.

We rented a dune buggy to drive the east coast beach road, and it was a high light of our trip. Unspoiled natural beauty. No houses, restaurants or hotels, just nature. There were a number of scenic pull offs, and this was our favorite. The waves crashing into the corral outcroppings make it a photographers dream. There is not a... More

Absolutely gorgeous beach, where you have a full potential to do your best vocation pictures. Huge corral arches are laying on the surface and you can relatively easy climb on it. We did it with flip-flops, but I would recommend some hiking/tennis shoes for security. If you have small kids, be prepared to hold them all the time as the... More

We stopped by while on a tour from our cruise. The scenery is spectacular! The "beach" is gravel and coral so not really a lay out or go swimming place, but the rock formations (coral) are beautiful! Great photo ops! As it is on the uninhabited side of the island, it's not crowded at all. There is also a nice... More

As part of a wild and crazy island tour in the jeeps (or yeeps), we ended up at El Mirador. Gorgeous! The sweet smell that wafts through the air, I believe, is sea lavender. Wander to the water, and go ahead....just sit if you like. The current is strong. There are rocks projecting here and there. I was surprised to... More
