We are more than a dive shop. We are a training facility. Every dive is a learning experience, and we ensure that it is valuable. We are a dive academy. We go beyond the regular diving education curriculum and introduce tech diving techniques (where appropriate), making you a more advanced diver at any course level. We are explorers. We are determined to find new interesting dive sites and encourage you to join our exploratory missions.

We were so happy we booked with them. Every dive was incredible ! Javier was efficient, professional and knew what he was doing. Took us to dives based on our skills and we were so thrilled on every dive we did. Maria's lunches are Cozumel famous as we had many dive captains coming over to see if there were leftovers.

Before taking Dive Cooperative's Open Water scuba course, I was quite nervous about having my head underwater, diving past 15 feet and breathing underwater in general. However, my instructor, Javier, understood my nerves and never once made me feel bad for being so nervous. He allowed me to ask a million questions as I was being taught the various skills... More

I've been diving with Dive Cooperative on every opportunity that I get when I visit Cozumel. I had limited time last week as I was on a cruise ship, but Sherief and Scott made arrangements for me to go diving with them! Scott was an excellent guide and offered truly personalized service. He was able to honor my dive site... More

I have dived in Cozumel a few times, with different dive companies, but decided to try someone different for this trip. There are over 200 dive operations on Cozumel so the choice is wide, however from the start Dive Co-operative set themselves apart - Maria was so helpful when we we planning our week away and once we arrived in... Just returned from a week's diving with this lovely outfit. There were four of us, from Britain, and we had a quickie diving holiday to Cozumel. Didn't have time to get it wrong as, after travel, we could only manage 6 days in the water. This outfit is, in essence, a four person operation:- one in New York (IT) ,... More

I was in Cozumel earlier this year and did an experience scuba adventure with the Dive Coop. I must say all the nervousness completely disappeared the second I met with Maria at the shop. She was completely comforting and assured me there was nothing to be afraid of. Once we got to our diving spot Maria provided a quick yet... More

I've been diving since 1988 and am a scuba instructor, so I was looking for something VERY special for my 40th birthday when I decided on a "gift of diving" for myself. Diving the cenote caverns of Mexico has always been a dream of mine and after A LOT of research, I decided to go with Sherief and Dive Cooperative.... More

My daughter and I wanted to dive in Cozumel for a week, and we were looking for a smaller dive operator, wanting to stay away from big crowded dive boats, and also wanted to stay at a small hotel or B&B instead of an all-inclusive. Having dove with Sherief in the past when he worked for a different firm, I... More

My daughter and I wanted to dive the cenotes but were very nervous about it. Other 'tourist' operations just throw you in and hope for the best but cenotes are not a dive you should do without specialized knowledge. Shereif and Jason gave us an unforgettable experience that was also safe. They taught us special swimming and safety techniques and... More

I found Maria by mistake on the internet and it was the best mistake of my life! She organized all my tours, taxis, dives and everything came off with precision.
