Amazing structure with a fascinating history (shared by our awesome tour guide). Be sure to bring sun screen, hats and water, as there is limited shade available and temps can be HOT! Regardless, so worth the visit. A MUST SEE!

This Temple area spoken about in both tours I've been on. Although in both we did not actually walk in closer proximity to it, only talked about from a distance. I would take time during your personal tour time on tours to approach it for...More

What a great history lesson! Spent the day exploring, first in a guided tour, then with a group of five kind people that I met on the bus and ran into again down there. I had read a couple of history books prior to coming...More

The Temple of the warriors is dedicated to all the victorious captains of the game that the Mayan people used to play. It involved voluntarily sacrificing their life at the altar at this temple.

This was erected to honor the top warriors in Mayan culture, it's huge but you can't walk on it, they are trying to preserve the history.

The Choc-Mul best on view at the Chichen-Itza archaeological site...no longer may be climbed, which is likely best for presevation purposes.

Another great historical place that will bring you back into the unique & ahead of time Aztecan culture. Once upon the time two different Aztecan teams prepared for a game to honor and workship their Gods, then.....well you must discover the history. A must-see place.
