Much smaller than expected. I enjoyed the outdoor path to the ruins (400 meter walk according to the guard) mainly because it was the only peaceful, quiet place I found during my 6-day stay in Cancun.

They have a great collection of Mayan artifacts and details associated to the area represented but needed additional interactive exhibits or museum staff t help explain some of this in greater detail. It was a little boring.

It should be about a 15 minute drive. Note that you'll need to go past and make a u-turn at one of their turn-around spots when you go there. I do not think they have a snack bar, however the museum is small and you will be... More

Sorry, we do not know if there are guides or not. We do recall that English language signage has improved since the first year.
