They have a great collection of Mayan artifacts and details associated to the area represented but needed additional interactive exhibits or museum staff t help explain some of this in greater detail. It was a little boring.

It should be about a 15 minute drive. Note that you'll need to go past and make a u-turn at one of their turn-around spots when you go there. I do not think they have a snack bar, however the museum is small and you will be able to take it in within a couple of hours and then resort to one of the other food options along the hotel zone.
