Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at an Airbnb just around the corner from the public beach area. Easy access between Secrets and the Hard Rock all inclusives. The Guys working down there are really friendly and always happy to help and share information about the area and things to do! Issac was great to us and always smiling. It was fun!

Waves were huge. I only give a 5 because it had the biggest waves I’ve body surfed before. Incredible. Beach was just ok . Did not have to pay.

Very pretty beach with its blue waters. It has exit access to the Kulkucan Blvd. It is valid to note that the exit is the only one in a few Kms as most of the shore in that area is closed access by by big resorts.

This is a nice beach. The problem is, there are so many hotels there that they have the beach sectioned off and each hotel has its private area for the people there. For anyone who isn’t on the hotel side, there isn’t anywhere to sit. So bring a towel and expect to sit close to the water.

While this is a public beach it is mostly populated by folks from the Marriott or Hard Rock Hotel which are both next to it. The beach is sandy and clean. The water is a wonderful blue and the sky can be gorgeous.

We enjoyed the beach and the turquoise waters. It's a public beach but quieter than some of the others. The water was quite strong but fun to jump around in. There are hotels beside the beach which take up much of the space so you do feel a bit like the odd one out if you're not staying at those hotels. Still worth the visit though, especially if like us you were not staying in the hotel zone.

Very nice beach with turquoise waters. A little disappointed because it seemed like the Secrets resort has taken over the beach. There were free lounge chairs and umbrellas, food and drinks, but they were for people who were staying in the hotel with all inclusive. Overall, a nice beach.

The beach is located by Hard Rock Cafe Hotel, Secrets and the JW Marriott. There's public beach access with changing rooms and restrooms. It's a beautiful beach with warm water. The waves can get a little rough but there are lifeguards on duty. You can rent equipment for fun on the waves or parasailing.

The views, the sunsets... Only something high for the national tourist because there is no discount and you don't earn in dollars... Excellent options on the public beaches
