This is not a deep cenote, the walls surrounding it cannot be more than 5m high, but the colour and clarity of water is stunning. The only bad thing is that it was really overcrowded, or maybe we shouldn't have visited on a weekend?

We caught the local colletivo from Tulum to Azul Cenote (it stops on the other side of the highway) and had a wonderful time exploring this crystal clear slice of paradise. My family and I enjoyed trying out the different interconnecting cenotes and watching the...More

Cenote Azul unfortunately began to deteriorate. I visit to cenote for three years, every month, advised him to other people. It was not pleasantly surprised that the owners changed the rules of the visit. Until then, foreigners who had a residence permit could visit the...More

Great cenote that seemed a bit off the beaten, tourist path. The majority of people here seemed to be Mexican families. It's open air, and quite a bit larger than I expected. Highlight of the trip was the chance to jump off a cliff into...More

I suggest you go early in the morning and on a week day. The cost is around $6.00/person and it's a great experience. Take water shoes and have a blast.

Open air cenote, shallow enough to stand in most places with a lowish jumping spot. Very jungle-y snorkeling with some small colorful fish. Cost about $6 per person when we arrived in our rented car. Nice for a perfectly temperate dip. We were there only...More

This cenote was maybe my favorite of the ones we visited near tulum. Great little cliff to jump from, and a lower platform for those who don't fancy jumping from heights. Beautiful, cool water, and lots of little fish. Don't miss this cenote if you...More
