Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We wanted to see some waterfalls and Mil Cascadas absolutely did not disappoint. When we turned off the main road, it felt like we were driving 30 minutes or more along a winding dirt and gravel road to the middle of nowhere. But trust your GPS! It got us there and we were greeted at the parking entrance and directed where to park. We opted for the full guided service and rented to life vests totaling $500 pesos. Sebastian was our guide and his fee was per group and not per person. He led us down the side of the river and multiple falls and even into the water at certain points. When we started heading back we thought "ok that was nice." Then he told us that the way back included climbing into the waterfalls. It was an exhilarating surprise. Challenging due to the strong currents and extra cascading water from heavy rain. I recommend maybe not going right after a heavy rain. It was a great experience though and we both said we would do it again.

A great place to refresh!
You can take a lovely tour in the Nature!
You Will see and amazing landscape, bring a trekking shoes and a wey suit
Is easy and cheaper if you Rent a car, sadly the tours are expensive and you can not spend the time you want there

This place is amazing, beautiful. There is not enough words how wonderful it is... Definitely go there!!!!
OK, let me go through this experience very detailed way :) The way there is absolutely wonderful - the mountain views, the wild nature. BUT - the road is almost non-existent :) It is very curvy mountain road with no travel road from one point and it is very very narrow. So we were truly lucky to have had Jeep to go there, as it took the road lightly :D
When you get to the entrance, it is 40 pesos per person and that is just the entrance :) You HAVE TO rent a life-jacket and the locals suggest you take a tour guide also. We took the life jacket, as otherwise we wouldn't get further, but we didn't take the guide and it was excellent. We jumped into the water in different locations, swam there and took a lot of photographs. This place is absolutely phenomenal, clean and beautiful!!! I really really recommend going there, but be prepared for the non-existent road, the rental of the life-jacket after the entrance fee (40+50 pesos) and lots of locals trying to sell everything :) Also - swimming shoes would be great if you don't want to cut yourself, the roads are muddy and slippery and the rocks at the lagoons are very slippery. Taking all these points into account, this will be an amazing visit. Oh yes - prepare to spend minimum 3 hours there :) ;)

Beautiful, definitely a place you have to visit, the people are super friendly, there are delicious places to eat inside the park, the cave is beautiful, the entrance fee is 200 pesos per person but if you want to enter the cave you have to pay a personal guide . We were a group of 5 people and they charged us 500 pesos apart from the tickets but it was very worth it. The water is cold, to get there part of it is dirt and the road is narrow.

Hola Daniel,

Written 15 March 2019
No necesitas llegar a Taxco .
Mil cascadas está en el edo de Morelos mientras que taxco ya es guerrero. Una hora aprox
Te recomiendo busques el sitio de mil cascadas y desde tu ubicación con Google Maps te diga cuál es la mejor ruta para ti
