Tamayo wasn't solely, it would seem, a great artist, he was also a discerning collector of pre-Columbian art, and this little museum is the result. Each piece is a gem. And it's not crowded!

The background colors of purple and yellow make photography difficult. What this collection offers is not the standard Aztec or Maya works. Therefore I found this interesting and enjoyed myself. It does have restrooms and and a place to sit in the courtyard. Go see!
