Great church! Must visit. My kids liked it and appreciated the atmosphere. Be respectful of those who are in church, they take offense if you are too loud and take pictures of people.

Beautiful and magnificent church. Words cannot explain the beauty of the church. There is botanical garden right behind it.

This is not only a great location, but the Church itself is amazing. I didn't have a chance to go on a tour, and my understanding is that there are several attractions this Church offers, but I did go to Mass there a few times....More

I was able to visit it on my first day in Oaxaca. Stunning gold artwork on the walls, ceilings, and altar. Great architectural design both inside and out. There is a store on the side of the church that sells religious items. Being Catholic, I...More

Next to Zocalo, I would say that this is another place where people meet to check out the Cathedral, the museum, as well as many stores by artisans and food. It's a common meeting place. It's a must do.

This is an impressive (even if way too baroque for me) church, a must see while visiting Oaxaca. And don't miss the adjacent museum with the trésor of the tumb n7 of Monte Alban

The size of this place is spectatular. Art work, gardens, views and history. Took plenty of photos, well worth the visit

The best guide ever is Omar Lescas Diaz. His English is wonderful and he knows "all" the history of the area. It may not be worth his while to do one building like this. He is excellent for Monte Alban and the natural tour... More
