Great church! Must visit. My kids liked it and appreciated the atmosphere. Be respectful of those who are in church, they take offense if you are too loud and take pictures of people.

Next to Zocalo, I would say that this is another place where people meet to check out the Cathedral, the museum, as well as many stores by artisans and food. It's a common meeting place. It's a must do.

This is an impressive (even if way too baroque for me) church, a must see while visiting Oaxaca. And don't miss the adjacent museum with the trésor of the tumb n7 of Monte Alban

The best guide ever is Omar Lescas Diaz. His English is wonderful and he knows "all" the history of the area. It may not be worth his while to do one building like this. He is excellent for Monte Alban and the natural tour... More
